Auroville is an experimental utopia in Southern India. It is made up of around a bit less than 3,000 people. It is an isolated society that operates off of equality and everyone working together. It is has no currency transactions within the community, except with tourists who help fund the community's internal projects. Even though it is a "utopia", the society is still not perfect and there have been some major crimes.
